| The friendly C&S engineer waves as five SD-9s struggle to lift southbound Train 75 out of Walsenburg, Colo. on Feb. 25, 1968. No. 75 has just collected refrigerator cars full of San Luis Valley potatoes interchanged from D&RGW to C&S at Walsenburg, en route Texas markets. One blue/gray SD is lettered "Route of the Zephyrs," another is lettered "Everywhere West." |
