| Remarks & Notes |
| Rio Grande GP9s 5942 & 5911 assemble loaded hoppers at Geneva Steel's dolomite quarry at Keigley, Utah. This perspective looks westward across the Goshen Valley with the East Tintic Mountains in the background. D&RGW's Tintic Branch was originally constructed to tap into the mineral wealth of the East Tintic Range with the branch entering Pinion Canyon featuring steep grades, a famous 'double circle' loop and three tunnels to reach the mining communities of Eureka, Mammoth, and Silver City. |
