Brand new Interstate RS-3 number 34 has split a switch in the east end of the yard at Andover on January 7, 1954. It would appear the lead wheel on the trailing truck picked the point. The orange, cream, gray and silver unit hasn't been in service long enough to collect much road grime or coal dust. This photo was taken by the late H.L. Stuart, Jr.
