Waiting, wondering.........as the normal traffic passes Hunt Tower westbound.........will it happen? A bell sounds three times somewhere in town, and the magic begins! The car scanner picks up another approaching westbound two detectors away, I move the stepladder back into position. Then from atop the ladder I hear for a few seconds the welcome sound of non-turbocharged 567s off to the east...........this has got to be them! Moments later the cab comes into view and I spot the led numberboards unique to the new GEs! Quickly rolling into position, what a sight the lighting reveals at 03:03! Thanks go to Sean Hoyden for his help in obtaining this image.
