| If any photograph is worth a thousand words this is the one I'd choose. This remarkable scene was not 'set-up' or 'posed' in any way. This was everyday life in the Inner Mongolian village of Xiakengzi. Much will have changed in the eight years since then, most of it will be better for the villagers, though I suspect none of it will be better for the photographer! |
