Remarks & Notes
Appearing at first to be a scene right out of the 1960s, a matched set of high hood EMD GP7/GP9 units depart Butte, Montana for a 52 mile journey to the Montana Rail Link interchange at Garrison. The 105, 104, 106 and 103 were built by EMD for the Butte Anaconda & Pacific Railway between 1953-1957. The Montana Western Railway leased 52 miles of Burlington Northern track (ex-Northern Pacific) between Butte and Garrison beginning in Sept. 1986. All train operations on this line returned to the BNSF Railway in July 2003.

From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
Prototype for everything . . .

Do you ever get the feeling as a model railroader, that you just might be creating something not "prototypical?" Same here.
