| On the rear of a hot 991 train on this beautiful spring afternoon in the Tehachapis is a sizeable consist of Santa Fe passenger equipment, including a dome and observation, all in great shape. On the point of this high-priority symbol are four very clean red & silver Dash 8s, including a brand-new one in the lead. This is of course no coincidence, what with all the "brass" on the train. |
