| Early Montana winter: On an incredibly snowy November 1, 1991, a westbound Burlington Northern grain train works over Marias Pass at Summit, Montana, powered by three SD40-2s. This Halloween 1991 snowstorm effected much of the northern part of the country and gave it an early taste of winter. |
