| Union Pacific's YROG (Yermo, CA - Ogden, UT) freight meets an SCST (Salt Lake City, UT - Stockton, CA) manifest along the southern shore of the Great Salt Lake. The UP 6132 is eastbound on the Lynndyl Subdivision main from Los Angeles while the UP 3737 is westbound on the former WP Shafter Subdivision main to Oakland. The Stansbury Mountains mark the background of this perspective captured along the foothills of the Oquirrh Mountains. The Interstate 80 freeway runs down the middle of the two subdivisions at this point, and runs roughly parallel to the old WP into Nevada. |
