| In the last minutes of light on National Train Day, a southbound BNSF freight rolls past the healthy crops -- and not-so-healthy barn -- of a Skagit Valley farm. Looming in the distance is the 10,781' (or 10,778', depending on which Wikipedia page you read) glacier-covered Mount Baker, the highest peak in the North Cascades. |
