| With Robert Claytor at the throttle, N&W 1776--looking a little weathered by this date--has just relieved Southern's former Texas & Pacific 2-10-4 on an NRHS convention special at Bluefield. The colorful SD will take the train on a loop run over the Clinch Valley District, the Dry Fork Branch, and back over the Pokey main to Bluefield, where the Texas-type will take over for the return to Roanoke. |
