| Well worth the hike: It is arguable that the best spot to take photos of trains in Dundas would be from the peak. On a cloudless spring afternoon with fresh greenery apparent, the distant whine of dynamic brakes, disturbs the otherwise quite valley. Dwarfed by the expanse of the Dundas Valley, CN 5694-2426 lead eastbound hotshot 148 downgrade towards Bayview Junction and points east. The engineer exchanged a few short blasts of the horn for a railfan down below, who was likely enjoying the weather much like the other railfans on the peak. |
