| It's a rare sight as Amtrak #3, the outbound Southwest Chief, blasts out of Joliet on the old Santa Fe Southern Transcon. A derailment on its usual routing in Kewanee forced a detour of the train that used to run daily out of Joliet, but now only operates on the old Santa Fe trackage west of Galesburg. |
