| A father and son watch as fireman Mark Ruddy fills the firebox of NG15 NG119.
Sadly, this was the last long distance run of the 2' Apple Express. Operations were terminated soon after due to lack of funding, and a year later the entire Port Elizabeth narrow-gauge line was closed to traffic. One can just hope that this operation will one day, run again |
