Remarks & Notes
Despite lack of wires or full Amtrak/Government support, Boston had fast 100 MPH plus train service to New York in the seventies. Number 51 is crossing the curved high bridge just north of the City Station. The turbo train was a failure in the end do to high maintenance costs and noisy conventional non-welded rail.
