| Even though the date is September 17, 1996, winter is creeping in on Cumbres Pass, Colorado. Road engine C&TS K-37 No. 497 rests as K-27 No. 463 cuts out of a freight train amid a heavy snow. This is a photo charter on the famed former Rio Grande narrow gauge route. |
