| Brand new EMD GP38s 2730, 2731 and 2732 have just arrived at Andover, VA on the long trip from the builder's plant at LaGrange, IL. The road foremen who rode from Bulls Gap, as well as the train crew, are greeted by Sonny Burchfield and others. SD45 3114 has also just arrived with a westbound extra, running about an hour ahead of the smaller EMD cousins. Now, it's time for the "pit crew" at Andover to fuel and sand these tonnage haulers. |
