| In 2012 there is hardly any evidence that a railroad once operated here, but in 1986 three clean, shiny C425's were working the Cheboygan area. The 181 had been busy all day working the local switch job and after getting the evening train ready for departure the crew has parked the 181 off to the side and pulled the 281 and 381 out of the engine house for the evening trip south. About 5PM a road crew will show up and grab the pair of C425's and after putting 181 away for the night will head to the south end of the yard, make any final moves and then be departing with the Bay City bound freight. |
