Two friends are out walking their dog on a early Spring evening as NS 290, powered by Electro-Motive Division's newest SD70ACe demonstrator roars by the fully restored Montpelier Station heading North.

The station was at one time the principal supply and mail receiving point for the 4th US President James Madison's massive mansion and estate here in Central Virginia.
