Remarks & Notes
Union Pacific 844, adorned with flags from both the Confederacy and the Union, rolls along at a good clip along the south bank of the Missouri River at Wooldridge, MO. This shot was taken from the foundations of a former grain elevator, on which the UP now stores track supplies. The 17 car train was on its way to Marion, AR, to unload cannons and actors for the 150th Battle of Shiloh reenactment. UP 2010, the Boy Scouts of America engine, is trailing.
