| BN 5747 and C&S 903 eastbound at Grand Crossing with 54 cars of TOFC/COFC at 14:30 on Sept. 22, 1979. The train is swinging around the west side of North La Crosse yard on what probably was the old passenger main. I can't remember for(it was 30 years ago for gosh sakes)sure. All I do remember is that within a few years this track was not used and the freights were set up to just head right through the yard to the crew change at the yard office. |
