| A loaded ore train bound for Geneva, UT, works south towards the next crew change at West Quincy, MO. 5 WC SD45's are running thru today on this SP train, which the SP/WC ran from the ore mines in northern Minnesota to Utah. These train sets would go east with coal to Chicago for unloading, and then go to WC for cleaning, and then loading with ore for the trip back west to unload in Utah, and load with coal again in Colorado. A good use of a train set. |
