| In a swirl of exhaust smoke, NS 951 has just knocked down a clear signal at Kings Mountain, en route to Chattanooga with an inspection trip for system officials. A northbound holds well south of the home signal on track 2. The train's conductor is just now climbing down to be on the ground for the required visual "run by" (he'd better--or his butt will be in big time trouble!). |
