| Cumberland, MD 3/18/2008 - A young railfan is in the making as he waits for the trip of his short lifetime aboard Amtrak's eastbound Capitol Limited to Washington, D.C. Judging by his Thomas the Tank bookbag, his parents have been nurturing his interest in trains well in advance of this exciting day. In the background, a westbound empty hopper train looms over the shoulder of Amtrak conductor Shannon Gray as she talks PO-30 towards its second station stop--the first for a change of the head end crew, the second to board the passengers. |
