| CP 450 rolls SB (geographically EB) past the new intermodal yard in Mechanicville. In the background are the 2 Mi-Jack cranes the serve the facility, 2 NS units off an inbound 938 that just arrived, and the yard office behind the cranes. This new facility sits on the former site of a large Boston & Maine hump yard and a smaller D&H classification yard. The intermodal section was just opened in January and an auto unloading facility remains to be completed. |
