Pausing from his freight switching to allow a passenger train to depart, the engineer of this CFR 4-6-0 checks me out, as does a worker whitewashing the platforms, and a uniformed station agent. The agent approached with a grim look on his face, but spoke no English. I said 'hobby' several times, which elicited head-shaking. He finally shrugged, grinned, and walked away down the platform.
