This WD class steam locomotive was manufactured by Baldwin Loco Works, USA. It was in the service from 1948 to 1993. It was recommissioned on 14th February 2001 to promote Rail-tourism on some meter gauge routes. Since last few years it is stationed in front of New Jalpaiguri station.
From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
