A pair of classic Rio Grande GP30s emerge from the shadowy Jordan Narrows into the bright morning sun at Mesa, Utah. The UT04L would make its first stop at Geneva Steel before turning at Provo Yard. A special thanks to Mr. Doug Jolley, a D&RGW employee at the Roper diesel shop who took the time to hand wash the venerable 3001, helping the Grande Gold paint shine through!
