| Looking at this scene in any book or on the web and you would easily know it was at Paw Paw, WV. The tunnel in the distance is Carothers Tunnel, the western most on the B&O Magnolia Cutoff. NOTICE the double flip of the signal. The eastbound train on track two flipped the far signal from green to red and as it was passing the nearest signal flipped from green to red as the dispatcher lined a westbound. Within two months after this was taken, the signal would fall. |
