| Final Days of the CPLs. The end of an era is coming in Marion. The N&W Color-Position Light Signals, which have guarded the diamonds at Marion since the 50s, are being replaced by new "Vader" Signals. The foundations for the new eastbound cantilever can be seen on the left. Here, NS 304, with a standard cab Dash 9 at the helm, is about to pound the diamonds at Marion during a pretty fierce snow squall. Get your CPL shots while you can! |
