| Hotshot westbound CHOAT departs Ogden, Utah on Southern Pacific rails after a morning spent crossing the Utah desert and Wasatch range on Rio Grande rails. It's been a pretty fast trip, but things will get decidedly slower for the next couple hours as the train moves out onto the Great Salt Lake fill, where rising waters have made daily operations an iffy proposition. |
