Remarks & Notes |
What appears to be one very long Z train is actually two trains, a westbound and an eastbound Z train meeting on the double track BNSF Needles Subdivision near Goffs with the famous Route 66 in the foreground. The westbound is working up the stiff grade into Goffs as the eastbound is easily making track speed on its downhill slide into Needles for a crew change. |
