| With new money allocated for the new high speed project on the UP's Joliet to St Louis line, one of the project is to improve the curve thru Wilmington, MP 52. With that improvement the UP plans to tear down this old depot in the coming weeks to make room for the alignment of the curve. This is a route that mainly see Amtrak's trains that work continues to upgrade to high speed service.. |
