Deep into the East Altoona pit, J1a 6432 waits for work. It was officially retired in April 1958 (source: Keystone Crossings). John had an escort from the PRR Police to roam the property for these shots. This is one of 16 photos taken that day and now uploaded to GodfatherRails.com
