Remarks & Notes
Baldwin 2-8-0 made in February 1916 sits on display at Furnace Creek Ranch in Death Valley. This narrow gauge engine was used to haul borate ore from the mines at Ryan to Death Valley Junction from 1916 until 1931. The engine was then sent to United States Potash Co. in Carlsbad N.M. The engine hauled potash ore for 25 years to the USP refinery. It was given to the Death Valley Museum in 1956.
