| Remarks & Notes |
| On a dreary April day long ago, a three-unit EMD mix leads a northbound Lynch Turn toward Corbin. This train would normally be running as number 46, but it's ahead of that particular schedule today, so the DS at Corbin has it running as an extra. In train order/timetable territory, a train cannot leave any timetable point ahead of its scheduled time, therefore it's an extra today. From here to Corbin, though, it doesn't matter, as it's now CTC territory, where trains operate entirely on signal indication. |
