| Today's consist of the the day is brought to you by the letter A, as in train 11A. With 10A and 11A handling all the traffic between Conway and Altoona, and with JBS located in Altoona, trains 10A and 11A have sported some wacky consists as of late. Here is 11A grinding uphill with new SD60E #6902 leading a freshly outshopped SD60 #6629, a brand new and freshly painted CSX ES44AH #965, and freshly painted CITX #1557. The CITX unit is a former NS SW1500. The train is rolling past the brickyard crossing in sweet morning light while storm clouds from an approaching cold front begin to move in from the west. |
