The 2011 Buckingham Branch / US Marine Corp Toys For Tots special heads East towards a stop at Goshen. An ever growing tradition through Central Virginia, the train stops to collect toys at Millboro, Goshen, Craigsville, and Staunton. Santa rides the caboose and greets the children at every stop. At the end of the day, A boxcar full of toys assures that many boys and girls will have a great Christmas.

The "BB" was founded in 1988 and ran its first train on March 6, 1989. The BB has grown from 17 miles of track and two employees to 275 miles and 75 employees, spanning over Virginia in three separate divisions.
