| A GP15-1 performs its switching duties at the small but busy Clinton Yard. This yard is a veritable cornucopia of agricultural and manufacturing products of Iowa and the rest of the Midwest. Some of the products one may find in this yard are corn syrup, ethanol and dried distillers grain, pet food, plastic resins, John Deere tractors from the Waterloo Works, fertilizer, and of course grain, especially corn. This yard is slated to be replaced fairly soon by a larger yard west of Clinton. |
