| Ascending the Harriman era line change built in 1916-17, Union Pacific 844 East climbs the 1.14% compensated grade of the Evanston Sub approaching Castle Rock. The 844 began her journey at Ogden, UT and would tie up at for the day at Rock Springs, WY. |
