| The 2011 Santa Train has just emerged from a tunnel south of Haysi. The recently rebuilt SD40-3 looks sharp on the point, capturing the morning light. The train will make several additional stops throughout the day, throwing gifts to children in communities along the Kingsport Subdivision. Ultimately, the train will terminate in Kingsport, TN at 3:00 pm and deadhead south to Erwin, Spartanburg, and eventually back to Jacksonville by the first of next week. |
