| Remarks & Notes |
| BC Railway was still adding Alco-powered locomotives to their roster as late as 1976, adding 13 cast-aside C425's owned by Erie-Lackawanna and rendered surplus by formation of ConRail. For several years they operated in E-L paint, or a hastily-applied primer grey scheme that was dissolving away 1980, when the former E-L 2455 rested at Lillooet along with RS-3 567. Two-tone green paint was in its immediate future. None of the new 801-class ever wore the provincial red-white-blue paint before the fleet was retired in the early 1990s. The 805, nee E-L 2455, was one of six that survived, working today on the Mohawk, Adirondak & Western in New York, still wearing number 805, still in two-tone green. |
