| Absolutely miserable weather--grey, rainy, cold, snow threatening in the higher elevations,more in line with what you'd expect in October, not the first day of September--greets southbound train #14 as it passes Alta Lake,near the summit of the climb up from Pemberton. An pair of M630's bracket an M420B on the 44 car train, the two-tone paint scheme of British Columbia's provincially-owned railway not doing much to stand out amid the dreary, rainy pine trees. |
