| Redemption! After missing the MoPac heritage unit when it made a surprise run on 22G earlier this year, I got a second chance at this beautiful unit. With news of it arriving 4th in trail on 226 the day before, me and a buddy went out to Inman and camped out to see if it would return, there are few words better than "three step, UP 1982". The crystal clear skies here hide the fact that we had to deal with large amounts of clouds to get our four sunny shots between Tuscaloosa and Meridian. Here we see it blasting through Cuba, AL, just shy of the Mississipi border at every bit of track speed. |
