Remarks & Notes
LUMBER! This commodity is the reason for the Southern Pacific's Siskiyou Branch existence after the Natron Cutoff through Klamath Falls was completed in the early 1900's. Seen here between assignments, a trio of SD9E Cadillacs sit idle waiting for another crew to spot empty boxes & flats for loading by the huge Roseburg Forest Products mill in Dillard.
