| When the tracks in Echo Canyon washed out in 1972, Burlington Northern scaled back service on the Keystone Spur to a new siding a mile upstream from town dubbed "Keystone Junction." It was also the terminus of the 1880 Train from 1976 - 2000 before the track was rebuilt into town for the 2001 season. Here's diesel 63 pulling a matched consist through the Junction on a beautiful summer morning. |
