Remarks & Notes

ALCX 8534 poses in the P&L's yard at Louisville while awaiting interchange to CSX. Billing indicates the unit is headed from Paducah, KY to Derby, ME, so one could infer it is in route from Progress Rail at Mayfield to the MM&A shops. Also, judging by the reporting marks (if Alcan Smelters & Chemicals, Ltd. is correct) it appears the unit may be headed to the "great roundhouse in the sky".
