Night friends
Anywhere in the world, the community of railroaders is a brotherhood. And this fellowship tightens even more at night or under harsh winter weather, when the work gets more difficult. Here is a modest tribute to these hard-working men.
The man on the left checks the train composition while the agent on the train stays here to perform the various tasks of maneuvering the train and taking care of safety in the yard or on the main line: instructing the engineer by radio, throwing the switches, etc.
