Surprise
These three kids resting in front of their home were as surprised by the sudden arrival of two photographers running out of their car as they were deafened by the horning of the La Oroya to Cerro de Pasco train. Yes indeed, this shack is home for a poor family. The standard of living of a vast proportion of the Peruvian population is very low.
The sign on the right reads: Casaragra fish farm; The river is our home, let’s not contaminate it. |
