| I know what I was doing on the 4th of July in 1978. I was riding in the next to last sleeper on the Sunset Limited through the mighty desert of the American Southwest. The sunset was not fully dramatic but was still something to behold. The old Dutch doors of the first generation Amtrak are sorely missed. |
